UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 213

The USD #213 Board of Education conducted a regular meeting on Monday, November 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the grade school library. The following people were in attendance: Jim Ninemire, President; Nicole Rhea, Tammy Otter, Julie Peterson, Jeremy Rumback, members; Ken Tidball, Superintendent; Doris Marx, Clerk
President Jim Ninemire called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
Jim Ninemire moved, seconded by Tammy Otter to adopt the agenda as presented.
Motion passed 5-0.
Julie Peterson moved, seconded by Jeremy Rumback to approve the minutes of the October 9, 2007 meeting as corrected. Motion passed 5-0.
The current bills and obligations were considered with questions being answered. Tammy Otter moved, seconded by Nicole Rhea to approve the bills, claims, and obligations as presented with check sequence of 20382 to 20402 for a total expenditure of $82,326.41.
Motion passed 5-0.
Jim Ninemire moved, seconded by Julie Peterson to raise the custodian salary .50 to $10.00. Motion passed 5-0.
Jim Ninemire moved, seconded by Jeremy Rumback to give the KASB convention delegate the right to make the decision in the voting on the KASB recommendations and proposed resolutions. Motion passed. 5-0.
Tammy Otter moved, seconded by Nicole Rhea to accept the proposed Bullying plan. Motion passed 5-0.
The Board/Staff Christmas party was discussed. It was decided to have it on December 14 at the community building.
Nicole Rhea moved, seconded by Tammy Otter to adjourn the meeting at 8:23 pm.
Motion passed 5-0.
