The USD #213 Board of Education conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the grade school library. The following people were in attendance: Jim Ninemire, President; LaRoyce Brown, Tammy Otter, Julie Peterson, Jeremy Rumback, members; Ken Tidball, Superintendent; Doris Marx, Clerk, Andrea Day, Patron, Mary Lou Long, Staff.
President Jim Ninemire called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Jim Ninemire moved, seconded by LaRoyce Brown to adopt the agenda as presented.
Motion passed 5-0.
Jeremy Rumback moved, seconded by Julie Peterson to approve the minutes of the September 10, 2007 meeting as presented. Motion passed 5-0.
The current bills and obligations were considered with questions being answered. Nicole Rhea moved, seconded by Jeremy Rumback to approve the bills, claims, and obligations as presented with check sequence of 20328 to 20348 for a total expenditure of $10,025.69.
Motion passed 5-0.
Jim Ninemire moved, seconded by Tammy Otter to grant the bus request from Andrea Day. Motion passed 5-0.
Andrea Day left the meeting at 7:30.
Food service purchases were discussed.
MaryLou Long left the meeting at 7:45
Jeremy Rumback moved, seconded by Julie Peterson to accept the operating agreement as presented between the Day Care and USD #213. Motion passed. 5-0.
Jim Ninemire moved, seconded by Julie Peterson to appoint LaRoyce Brown as the KASB Convention Delegate. Motion passed 5-0.
LaRoyce Brown moved, seconded by Tammy Otter to approve of the destruction of records that are five years or older. Motion passed 5-0.
Mr. Tidball reported on enrollment data.
LaRoyce Brown moved, seconded by Julie Peterson to adjourn the meeting at 8:19 pm.
Motion passed 5-0.
